May 12th – 19th

For the last few years I have run the TS luxury Bali camp and last year there was only one negative.

The camp was too short.

Not going to make that mistake again.

A picture of our private residence … yep, it’s a tough place to hang out.

This camp will be an experience that you’ll remember for life. The agenda for the camp is good fun, great food, luxurious accommodation, sensational training and bucket loads of culture. You will be surrounded in a laid-back environment of Villa Ombak Laut where there will be a great social atmosphere.

It’s not all about relaxing though as there is some exceptional training to be had with the bike rides fully supported via the great services of Wayan Kertayasa and his crew at Bali Cycling. The riding is a real cultural experience and you get to see some great parts of Bali especially when we start climbing and climbing we do. How about a 36km climb for good measure followed by a 40km descent and finishing at arguably one of the best gelatissmo shops outside of Italy. On this camp riding will definitely be the feature. There will still be running and swimming but the cycling will take center stage.

Running is done directly from the villa following the local village roads that wind there way through peacefully through Balinese villages featuring Balinese Temples and huge Banyan Trees surrounded by paddy fields. There is also a great longer run we do from the Villa down to Legian (Double 6) when the tides are right

The camp swimming will consist of the Villas private 18m x 5m wet edge lap pool where some stoke correction work can be done. The solid sessions will be done locally at the private Changgu Club which has a 6 lane 25m pool. Then there is the open water session down at beautiful Jimbaran Bay where the Bali triathlon is held.

TriSpecifics Bali camp will also be highly educational where you’ll become more educated with training structure, nutrition and recovery. Everything that will make you a smarter and healthier athlete. All done in a friendly relaxed atmosphere. You’ll feel like your on an awesome holiday while getting quality training deposited in the bank.

The Bali Luxury camp is limited to 10 campers so each athlete will get individualized attention over all disciplines. We encourage athletes with a minimum moderate level of fitness, meaning there are a couple of long rides with extended climbing (you read 36km up above right? though Karla our 65 year young camper last year nailed it on her TT set up and ‘chicked’ some of the boys and Karla is coming back) so a decent level of fitness is required. There will be no pressure to ride above your own ability however as we have full support for all athletes on the camp.

Further to the luxury relaxed atmosphere of the Villa Ombak Laut and the sensational training, campers will get to enjoy 5 star food for breakfast lunch and dinner daily served up by the chefs who shop each day for premium fresh produce and can cater for all dietary needs. Yes we have our own personal chefs who create food that is fresh, healthy and tastes amazing.
