In 5 Days time, qulaified athletes will be lining up off ‘Dig Me’ beach for the worlds most iconic endurance event.

Without a doubt Kona is the Everest of our sport and it ranks high on so many athletes bucket list.

I remember my first time racing there. Treading water, heart in throat, nervous would be an understatement. But I had time for a quick look back at the crowds lining up along the breakwall and some reflection.

I was right where I wanted to be and was damn grateful for it. I had made the decision 12 months earlier that I would not be watching from that wall in 2008. Oh no, I’d be racing.

Looking back, that decision was the reason I finally got my Hawaiian Ironman start in 2008

That decsision set the wheels in motion for me to finally break through. Everything else that followed was due to that decision.

I’ll be back racing on the big island in 2013 because I follow the principles, methods and actions that will get me racing there for my third time.

I want to show you how you can too.

I cover this and the secrets to record breaking triathlon performances and much more over at TSU
