I’m sitting here looking out the small window into the inner courtyard of an English country side barn conversions at Charlotte’s folks place thinking about the honest truth in succeeding.

Succeeding in triathlon, in business, in family and in life.

I know. The definition of success may be different for me then what it is to you.

But I do know this and it transcends everything we want to succeed at.

It’s simple but not easy.

Where most of us fall short is in the execution. We have these saboteurs at play, that are all loosely based around fear. It could be fear of success, fear of failure or even fear of what other people think.

I need to expand on this and I will, but it made me think of a post I wrote back in 2010 “Simple But Not Easy” which will give you an insight to what it takes everyday to succeed in triathlon.

Go ahead an read it, or re-read it (for my long time readers).

A simple extra tip. It’s all in the execution.

How did you execute today?

Kristian

P.S. It doesn’t necessarily get easier, you just get better 🙂
