What is TriSpecific?
That is a good question but perhaps I should start with what TriSpecific is not.
TriSpecific is not just another triathlon coaching website pushing the same outdated 'conventional wisdom' endurance training model, that quite frankly causes more harm than good.
TriSpecific is designed for all levels of triathletes - especially working age groupers.
Our goal is not just aerobic development - although through our programs you’ll be fitter and faster than ever, you'll also be more resilient, healthier and be having loads more fun.
Most triathlon programs are based solely on aerobic development, which has many problems associated with this singular focus. Not only does it make you slow, it also breaks your body down. It’s why we have developed this site and a multifaceted approach to triathlon training with strength, speed and skills encompassing the main physiological aspects of training - endurance development happens as a by-product. It's important but should not be the over-riding approach.
The TriSpecific difference is you’re going to be stronger, quicker, fitter and healthier than you have ever been. You will feel good about yourself and not only will your performances be on the up, you’ll have more energy and greater mental power (self belief).
At the end of the day life circumstance really does matter, we all have these ‘full to the brim’ lifestyles that need to be accounted for.
