Testimonials

'Kristian is the most dedicated triathlon coach I have trained with. He works with his athletes to assist them achieve their potential and their dreams in triathlon. His vision is to be the best triathlon coach he can be and as such he is a keen learner who constantly researches new approaches to training, nutrition, recovery and mental strength. He also understands that age-group athletes have other significant commitments in their lives eg. jobs & careers, families, etc and therefore have different needs from pro athletes. Finally Kristian is a unique combination of a coach, mentor and friend to his athletes.'

Kristian,Thanks for all your help & support in the last 3 months and getting me across the finish line feeling fantastic! It was great fun and I'll never forget that day - you are the best K-oach.

See Zoe's take on Becoming an Ironman

I call Kristian Manietta the most reliable man in my life for good reason. For almost four years, he's taken me from strength to strength physically and has never let me forget the depth of my potential.

Sounds wanky? Put it this way, at the age of forty, I raced my first half Ironman in 2006: I never would have thought when i met Kristian that this would be something i could ever dream of doing, let alone enjoy. But here I am and who is standing at the finish line bellowing at the top of his voice and wearing the biggest smile; the Manietta factor.

Kristian is a coach that offers 110% and asks you to do the same but in a realistic way. He asks that you aim as high as you want to go and then some while challenging you to do what you thought was probably not possible. His knowledge is sound and he continues to put into action new techniques and training skills he's always learning.

In short, he knows his stuff and is a great mentor. Not a lot of people can make me get out of bed in winter at 5am to swim, cycle or run: Manietta can.
